Subscriptions
How do I restore Mediocre Life Story Plus on a new phone?
Open Settings → Mediocre Life Story Plus → Restore purchases (or tap Plus on the title screen), signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you subscribed with.
How do I cancel or change my subscription?
iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. You keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by the store. Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. Google Play: request one from your Google Play order history.
Ads and privacy
Why do I see ads?
The game is free. Ads only appear between lives (at most one every few lives, never during a life), or when you choose to watch one for a rewind or an extra action. Mediocre Life Story Plus removes all ads.
How do I change my ad privacy choices?
In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, use Settings → Ad privacy choices. On iPhone, tracking permission is in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. See the Privacy Policy for details.
An ad didn't give me my reward.
Rewards are granted when a rewarded ad is watched to the end. If you closed it early, or it failed to load, try again in a minute. If it keeps happening, email us.
The game
Where is my game saved? How do I delete it?
Everything is saved only on your device. Settings → Reset progress erases your lives, achievements and discoveries; deleting the app removes everything. There's no account and no cloud copy, so a new phone starts fresh (your subscription can still be restored).
What is a rewind?
A rewind takes back your last decision and shows the same card again, with everything before it exactly as it was. Free players get one per life after watching an ad; Plus gives three per life with no ad.
Is what happens in the game real?
The odds are real statistics for your simulated time and place; the lives are simulated. See how the game is built on real data.
I think a number is wrong.
Please tell us the country, year and what you saw. Every number in the database is traceable to its source, so we can check it.
What devices are supported?
iPhone with iOS 17 or later, and Android 7.0 or later.
